I have finally received my new laptop: a Dell Inspiron 3520. And now to go through the arduous process of backing everything up from the old laptop and restoring it to the new laptop.

So, my new lady has arrived:

And, she's even more lovely than the picture shows. She has a truly lovely voice as well, with admirable tonal variation with the 5-way switch selecting between the bridge, the neck and various combinations of coil splitting. Tones range from buttery smooth right up to a little bit crunchy, even on a clean amp.

I'm gonna have fun getting to know this beauty!

I've been lying low for awhile to get answers and do some healing. I received the results of my ASD/ADHD evaluation early this month - no surprises but it did provide long-sought answers.

Thinking about buying a new phone. The Motorola Edge is $250 off at $300. It's not a great deal at normal price, but with the discount it's a decent deal, has plenty of battery, great display, and 256 GB storage. My current Moto G Power has been really slow lately, and even running well, it's a budget phone with budget phone performance.

Working on getting my new laptop set up and functional for everything I need. It did take a trip to a local repair shop but as long as I was there, I got new screen protector for my phone. It's been cracked for a few months now.

I would imagine fireworks will start here tomorrow night (if not tonight) and will last through the weekend.  My hearing is not great so it won't bother me, but Quinn will be a quivering mess.  Time to dig out the doggy Trazadone.

That's what I meant. It's more I very little if anything to celebrate for the new year, quite the opposite
