Found a great deal on a Blu-Ray of On The Waterfront. And it almost didn’t happen because, somehow, they thought I was based out of Canada despite giving them my actual address, which is just outside of Chicago.

Received an Ancestry DNA kit as an early holiday gift. I've always wanted to do it, but never wanted to pay for it.

Just spit in the tube, and the sample is being set out this morning.

I should probably be doing something constructive but.......maybe later. It's dark and dreary and raining like crazy. The animals are all napping and look rather content...I may join them and do constructive stuff later.

Somehow, the Chinese Blu-Ray I bought of Megalopolis actually came TODAY. I haven’t watched it in full yet (I’m saving that for New Years Eve), but I decided to re-enact one of the most famous features, so here’s a pic of my role in Coppola’s new film:

Morning, last minute shopping and errands. I spent the afternoon rolling and steaming tamales for the family. Got to speak with my son tonight -- for him in Okinawa it's Christmas morning.

I'm tired and not really in the mood for the holiday, but wot-wot. I'm sick of Christmas music and am off to find some Alice in Chains or something, or maybe a vid covering WWII. Lookin' California, feelin' Minnesota, indeed.
