Elon Musk
RE: Elon Musk
Quote:Tech billionaire Elon Musk signaled Monday that he will be looking into Fort Knox, where the United States has a massive and heavily secured gold reserve.

“Looking for the gold at Fort Knox …” Musk wrote on the social platform X.

He also shared a post from Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) on X, in which the senator said he has been denied access to Fort Knox, an Army installation in Kentucky.

“Who is confirming that gold wasn’t stolen from Fort Knox? Maybe it’s there, maybe it’s not. That gold is owned by the American public! We want to know if it’s still there,” Musk said.

"Looking for"? More like "salivating after".

Elon keeps forgetting that he's not in apartheid South Africa anymore.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Quote:The White House said Monday that Elon Musk is technically not part of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), even though the tech billionaire is said to be leading its sweeping cost-cutting efforts.

Musk is an employee of the “White House Office” and serves as senior advisor to the president, said Joshua Fisher, director of the White House Office of Administration, in a court filing.

[...]

His declaration comes as part of a lawsuit brought by 14 states against Musk, Trump and DOGE last week, arguing that the government role of the world’s richest man is unconstitutional because he has not been confirmed by the Senate.

“Mr. Musk’s seemingly limitless and unchecked power to strip the government of its workforce and eliminate entire departments with the stroke of a pen or click of a mouse would have been shocking to those who won this country’s independence,” the states wrote.

“There is no office of the United States, other than the President, with the full power of the Executive Branch, and the sweeping authority now vested in a single unelected and unconfirmed individual is antithetical to the nation’s entire constitutional structure,” they continued.

Too bad that, even if the courts decide against the fascist assholes, the fascist assholes won't follow the court's decision. They have placed themselves above the law.

^Gotta wonder how much of these 'savings' are going to be eaten up by lawsuits, replacing soft power with hard power, bribes, illegal election financing, deportation costs, and outright theft.

I have heard the acronym DOGE pronounced a few different ways, but I have decided that the proper pronunciation is DODGY.
