If I've got my calculations right it works out that here in the U.K. we pay approx $9.56 for a gallon of petrol/gas (£1.35 per litre).

(£1.35 x 4.54) x $1.56 = $9.56

How much is yours?

Last I looked it was $3.79 per gallon.

Wow, I was bitching at roughly $3.50 just a few hours ago. However, we should take median income and whatnot into account before we start comparing the impact of gas prices.

It was $3.35 a gallon for regular here in Huntsville today. That’s up more than 11% from the $2.99 it got down to around Christmas.

Yeah, my problem is we're at $3.70 now but we were at $3.15 a few months ago. What happened there?

I could fill up my Jeep for under $20 when I got it 8 years ago. Same tank size as my Focus. WTF.

Prices fluctuate wildly here anything from $AUD1.35 to $AUD1.49/ litre

Depending on which conversion you use (UK, USA) it is about the same Dar

That is a lot better than the $1.40 a liter or USD 5.30 a gallon I pay at the pump.
