The key here is to stop caring what stupid people think.

This is an atheist forum so although theists are welcome, atheists should always win - it is our home ground!
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
It's really that simple?
Yep.
So if I made the pronouncement that I was the "alpha and the omega" and wrote it down in a book like the bible, then I too could be outside of time and eternal?
It depends on when you wrote the book.
Apparently that is all it takes for your God to convince you that it's so. How do you know it's true?
Because in that book a great number of promises were given to the believer a very long time ago. The full fillment of those promises points to the truth.
He or his designated scribes say so. Well okey dokey then. Oh, wait a minute. I don't happen to believe everything in the bible is true, inspired, infallible or much of anything else.
What you personally believe is irrelevant to your original Question. Why? Because you asked Who made God? The question you ask acknowledges the existence of God for the intended purpose of the exploration of this question. My answer does not force belief outside of the parameters of the frame work of your original question. So in short, if Belief in God is such a foreign concept to you that you can not except His existence with in the parameters of your own question, Then you should not have asked the question to begin with.
So I guess I'll need more evidence. What reason do you have to think there is any creature whatsoever outside of time? Real evidence?
Can you give an example of what "real evidence" looks like outside of time? Perhaps then I might be able to provide something for you.

Question: How do you expect to bring clarity and understanding about Christianity when not a single one of you have a clear understanding about what 'god' even is?
How have you come to this conclusion?

Your original post was substantially larger than what your post is now. You must of deleted a large chunk of it shortly after posting it.

Unless I'm seeing things. Which let me tell ya, I ain't prone to doing.

I can assure you that i have not changed any posts in this thread. (Not sure how to do any of that yet.) I did post several replies in the noah's ark thread.. Maybe you guys are confused, about when what was said where..

Irrelevant. Location should not have any bearing on the strength of one's arguments. I've bested theists, and been bested by theists in this forum, and I'm not afraid to admit it. The notion that atheists should always be right is ridiculous.
