Friend, I've only recently heard of this person, no matter how I'm ashamed of admitting my ignorance, I'm not sure how the entire world is against him. As you said, he only has two hundred soldiers to help him fight.
I'm not sure how loyal these are to him, but I'm also not sure how the entire world is bent on capturing him.

Those are, literally, the die-hards. The survivors of his army of once thousands. For years!

I definitely think he is in there for observation. Many mental facilities are also hospitals and vice versa. He can be treated for dehydration whilst in a mental facility. Furthermore, they have to put him in a psych ward if his behavior is erratic. Regular hospital areas are not equipped for subduing patients.

They simply would not commit someone to a mental hospital for mere dehydration/malnutrition so there must be other factors involved - not to mention how inconsistent his highly active physical behaviour is with that of other suffers of malnutrition and dehydration - While you could reasonably expect these people to harm themselves via lack of spatial awareness, wandering into traffic for instance, they simply could not muster a display that is tantamount to a rampage, running around, screaming, jumping, punching and kicking cars and the sidewalk and then masturbating - they would simply lack the energy to undertake these actions, let alone their being likely incapable of attaining an erection or even being disinterested entirely.

And let's not overlook the fact that someone in his position running a charity that took in 14 million last year who has ample access to food and water and literally has a team of people who would bring it to him there is a pretty damn high probability that, even if he was actually "malnourished and dehydrated" his mental state wasn't that good to begin with.

Well, yes, of course. He must be behaving erratically. They could commit him for observation if he was behaving erratically due to a physical condition, though. I definitely believe he was acting crazy. I also believe it could have been due to dehydration and malnutrition. Did you know people who are suffering from hypothermia will hallucinate and take off their clothing?

I'm not convinced he was masturbating. He would have had to have taken off his underwear and then put it back on by the time the police got there. Nonetheless, I do think he might have found the energy if he was going insane. That being said, I think his family and friends attributed it to the wrong thing and I do believe they are the ones who hinted at health problems. I personally think the guy got really stressed out. He was the focus of a lot of criticism. He has also been visiting very disturbing areas in Africa for several years. It looks to me like he had a nervous breakdown. There is no shame in it. I feel pretty bad for him or anyone who has a nervous breakdown. The spotlight is clearly a difficult place to be, as evidenced by all of the nutty Hollywood actors and those who flee the U.S. to escape the fuckerazzi.

I completely agree. My only point was that a person can be taken into a mental facility for treatment of a physical issue. If for no other reason, it is done because security is not as available in typical medical facilities.
