When I suggested before that when the big Democratic donors start to loose a lot of money in in places such as the Stock Market due to Donald Trump crashing the economy with his trade wars, I was dismissed as conspiracy theorist. It feels great to be right. The Trump Administration is now 'on notice that they will e under the protection of due process'.

Pence may be a right-winger of the old mode, the sort of shit that made me vote for Obama thrice (the last time after four years of being less than stellar), but at least Pence is fucking stable. At least Mike Pence doesn't eat, sleep, and breathe the Dark Triad. I know Pence is a lot more openly Religious Right, but everything I've seen suggests he's slightly less horrible than Trump in every other non-Gilead way. Admittedly, this is largely because being worse than Trump is proving a very high bar for a politician to clear, but unless Trump can shut the fuck up and give Pence a chance to clear it, a Pence presidency is clearly the lesser evil.
And as much as the Neo-Nazis have latched onto Trump, I seriously doubt he even has THAT ethos in mind when he spews his horseshit.

Given that I doubt the impeachment stuff would pass the Senate, it feels more like a publicity stunt than anything else. Granted, Trump should be impeached no matter who the VP is, because that's what should happen when you shit the bed hard enough, but it wont happen. They should just put all their focus on getting someone better elected in 2020.

As much as I hate Pence, I don't see him as dangerous as his boss. And I do see him as easier to beat than his boss.

I think it's absolutely silly people think we can impeach Trump. Sorry, but he is not going anywhere sadly. He can get away with anything and that has been proven. America is his bitch. Since he has that magic "R" after his name he can literally get away with murder. He wasn't joking about shooting someone in New York City. The only way to get Trump out of office is to beat him or wait out the clock till 2025. His supporters are absolute fuckheads and don't care if he's destroying the country. As long as the libtards are mad they are happy.

Yeah, I can remember watching The Venture Brothers and how, despite (or perhaps because of) being a union of super-villains, the Guild of Calamitous Intent had a ludicrously complex honor code, and while they actually had an agreement that the cops wouldn’t interfere with crimes committed under normal arching activities, there appear to be two major exceptions to this rule: if they harm the cops, all bets are off. If the House doesn't impeach, they fail to fulfill their duty to hold the president accountable. If they do impeach, it's futile, because the Senate won't convict.
However if the proceedings are in progress and the president is re-elected, the impeachment might be upheld if the Democrats take the Senate.
