Because to claim that a God created everything requires an extra step. Who created God? If the answer to that is that God has always existed why not just save a step and say the Universe has always existed, in one form or another.

There is no reason for a God. Nor is there any evidence. The Universe looks and behaves exactly as it should if there were no God.

The big bang was an event that took place prior to the formation of the current universe.

God is supposedly an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent entity that 'created' the universe for a reason. A being that has a plan for all of us, peers into our minds to see what we are thinking and judges us after we die.

The two are really quite different.

To claim that the big bang is our god is insane ... we do not worship it, there is no ritual associated with accepting it and many more accepted characteristics of religious belief are absent from an acceptance of the big bang.

The Big Bang is an event. Before that there was a singularity that was infinitely dense where the laws of physics did not apply.

This singularity had no cause as for there to be a cause there must be time and time did not exist. So, it is quite accurate to say that the nothing created the universe as there was no before.

The notion of a God is simply because pattern seeking humans cannot grasp the idea that the Universe was not created for us and does not have to conform to our, primitive, understanding.

It is the one event past which we cannot see at present; maybe it does maybe it doesn't ... certainly it doesn't have a beginning in a time sense because time is understood to be an inherent property of this universe and so there isn't, in the accepted sense, a before at all.

Not in the god like sense you wish to get us to admit ... as I said earlier (and you ignored) to claim that the big bang is our god is insane! and who talked about worshiping , i just asked if u believe that big bang is the starter of all but always talk about god i dont know why

and u always say that people follow religion cuz thats what they were introduced to from early age , what about Jewish convert to islam, Christians to Islam , what about ppl born for atheist family converted to Islam ?

i believe in islam not beacuse i'm born muslim, because the book we have from 1400 has the fact of big bang , has the fact that light of the moon is reflected from the light of the sun , has the fact of celestial matter, the fact of water cycle, the stages of creation of a child in his mother whom, the fact that we all creatures created from water,facts On The Sensory Characteristic Of The Skin,Facts About The Seas And Oceans, Facts From Astronomy, even fact of ur finger prints and many more

all this in one book taken from the words of a man as u all say , a man didnt know how to right or read, and wasn't a scientist , 1400 years ago

and after all of that he says its not his word , its the words of god
who else am i going to believe ? u the one who say u evolved from apes , or him who give us a book that has a challenge no one can win , a challenge stand for 1400 years with no attempt to win , get a book like it , or just one chapter like it

Did you actually read and understand anything that was said to you at all?

We have already done the whole Quran facts thing and demonstrated that everything that Muslims claim is written in it that couldn't have been known before are wrong.

There is NOTHING written in that book that wasn't already known about by the ancient Greeks, Romans etc.
