I'm rather fond of George Carlin's attitude overall, but specifically from about 4.05.

I don't,and have never claimed such a thing,so need prove nothing.
Reproduces? Really? I didn't know that, not having seen little baby suns orbiting their mummy.
Google is your friend;perhaps look up "burden of proof"

Technically was not addressed at you nor did I ask for proof. I did not clam sentience, only queried, and last, but not least, note the . It was said in jest.
The planets came from the sun or so I am told (Appeal to authority).
The gas giants are still born/premature suns. (Another appeal to authority).
Sentience is up for debate. Initially it was considered that only humans had it, now it would seem that higher apes, whales and dolphins may also have some sentience. (And another appeal to authority).

That was implied as much as in the question 'how do you know there is no god'?.

Of course and I never suggested otherwise. Your post, however, "I don't,and have never claimed such a thing,so need prove nothing." suggested a defense on your part for an attack that did not exist, ergo my response that my post was not directed at you.

Again, my post was a direct response to Kayenneh , i.e. "If you worship the sun as a sentient creature, you're stupid.", it was he that made the positive claim and it was I that queried the proof.
