i find the buisness field to be quite interesting.

I actually enjoyed High School science, especially Chemistry.

As far as business goes, I took an economics class in hopes of seeing if I would want to major in it. It was fascinating, but not my deal.

Eventually I had to drop out of college because I couldn't afford it, I wasn't getting good enough loans/grant and I didn't have a direction and couldn't find one after attending college for 2 years.

So I buckled down, started looking for a job with my skill set and I found one working for the city of Boston, but it was not easy. After going through many possibilities I have finally decided politics and journalism are my real passion, luckily the city offers to pay for 2 political science classes a semester. I just need to straighten out my loan situation and hopefully I'll be back in college soon with a major in Political Science and maybe a minor in English/Journalism. I'm aiming for this Spring. It will take me much longer to get through college since I will have to attend part time and work, but as long as I accomplish my goal, that's what matters in the end.

I miss college. I love to learn, I don't care if I think it's not relative to my career interests. Knowledge, in and of itself, is a very valuable thing and I love it.

High school science is boring is a great understatement

If you think school is boring wait until you enter the business field. Sometimes, learning how to deal with boredom might be the most important thing you do learn. If someone gave you the impression that life was one big series of good times you should find that person and kick them right in the mouth.

(P.S. A lot of college courses are going to feel the same to you.)

I've set my life up in a way that a great deal of it will be good times... but i should hope to recognize that not much of life is fun and games Hopefully college courses and my business will be a step up in difficulty (and therefore a stairwell down in boredom level)

The important thing to remember is not just the subject, but the teacher. The last semester I was in college I took a Greek Mythology class, and I love Greek Mythology, but the professor was kind of boring. I passed the class with flying colors but it wasn't as entertaining as I had hoped it would be because the class consisted of the professor droning on and on with power point. :/ There was nothing engaging about the class. Although, I was at least amused when he compared creation myths to Greek creation myths and included Genesis and said mythology is where it belongs. XD But technically you're not supposed to get away with it. I imagine he did because he's teaching in liberal MA with Catholics who accept evolution.

There are some tools out there that help you decide between a professor. I forget what it's called, but I think there's a website where you can see how some students rate professors. You might want to look into that when you do go to college.

Meatball said it well, it leads to a healthier mind. Even if the content is useless.

I'll also add that if you enjoy learning for the sake of learning, even if it's useless in practice - that makes it easier to get through and probably also aids in the learning.
