And yes, I know Luke 19:27 was not said by Jesus.
Pretty sure events 1800 years (giving 200-300 years as the foundation period) later don't really count towards the foundation of the Christian religion.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Really? Because Christianity began as a Jewish sect around that time.

I misread what you said. But if you had a longer attention span you may have noticed the events from 17-18 centuries ago below it.
Those events were later when it became the state religion of the Roman Empire.
