Star Wars IV and V were good because it successfully pandered to the infantile part of our brain without making us feel too infantile up front.
Star Wars VI declined precipitously because it forget the pompous does not appeal to the infantile.
Star Wars I - III didn't pander to the infantile parts of our brain, it just made us feel infantile.
Star wars may be the best Sci-Fi Franchise ever, but even star trek served up much better science fiction.
