Wow, that is evil.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Sadly not an isolated case. Here are cases of sick fuckers throwing dogs off bridges. I'm ashamed to say the first three are from this side of the big water:

Tragically, the poor dog in that last one didn't survive the ordeal. Nor, despite initial reports, did the dog in the following incident,
which the wankers responsible actually videoed and posted on YouTube:

At least Beniukas, who threw the poor dog, has been brought to justice but it's too little too late.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I remember as a kid, a few of my cousins and I found a sack in a local creek filled with drowned puppies, probably about a dozen or so. Horrible.

I think there are some cases where people are too idiotic to realize that they do not need to keep animals their other animals have produced. Other times, I think it is just a stepping stone to hurting other animals or just a way to get sadistic tendencies out without a big likelihood of consequences.

Evil? I have problems with the connotations that come with that word. I even have problems with throwing a stone at someone and saying you are bad. However that is not to say I am some woolly liberal that because I can understand why an individual may have undertaken an action that I should also let them off the consequences. Actually I personally find that like the posters above have clearly demonstrated the initial reaction is for the victim rather than thinking about revenge. This could be a good meditation for a christian that thinks they may have a special relationship with the message 'he that casts the first stone'.
