You would try to do what is wholesome rather than what is destructive. It's the secular equivalent.

Yeah, except he doesn't. The Bible says God hates the wicked, sometimes naming specific individuals (e.g., Esau). The idea that he loves everybody comes from somewhere other than the Bible. I blame Bumper Sticker Christianity.
