If someone is kind enough to provide any documentation (accident notices, death notices) for the Adelaide, Australia region that matches Padraic's name (Last name Donnellan or so) that reasonably matches the conditions of his disappearance (occurred half a month prior to his disappearance to now), that would be helpful.

Last time I searched for death notices (1.5 months ago), I found nothing to match.

I'm afraid I dont think its the most likely, just the most optimistic. If there's a quantum computing, internet connection in the afterlife and Padraic was using it, I'm sure he'd be....

Anyway, as I said, it's just a theory and I am an optimist.

That's okay. However, just because this theory sounds most optimistic to you doesn't mean that it is the most likely one to be true (if that's what you're trying to imply).

...Secondly, if Pad did leave atheism (which is not 100% improbable, of course), then you still have the problem of having to explain why he would specifically choose Christianity as opposed to something like deism or any of the other religions.
