The fucking's irrelevant . Why would you add that?

Why would you come on the forum in your earlier days and talk like a complete cocksplat? Why would you sometimes talk as if you're an extra from Goodfellas or something? Why would you pretend to be an atheist?

Why, why, why?

Oh, why?

The answer is...

Fuck you.

Are there no plurals in your church?
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

And furthermore, evidence that it is the Abrahamic god and not MIGHTY THOR.

I agree with you that the God of Abraham is not Thor. Thor was a demi-god, not a god. I don't agree with you though that that was a real answer. I think that it was just a refutation to try and get me out of here. You think I'm an annoying Christian. And I find that sad. No one wants to have a real conversation. I thought you atheists were better than that. I thought I would be challenged by academic people. I guess not.

Understand the burden of proof, then you'll have you answer as to why we're atheists.

Note: I'm not joking, actually read and learn what it is.

Doesn't sound quite coherent there, Norrie.

Are you using "fuck" in a different way than most people understand it?

How do most people understand it? It can be used as a noun, a verb, an adjective...it is just a generic insult in this case.

There you go. Knock yourself out.

I learned nothing other than I already knew. Please, give me something useful. I feel like no one around here actually knows why they are atheist. It seems to me that its just a bunch of people with anti-religious sentiment talking about how much they hate religion for whatever reason. I don't see much real evidence for me to become an Atheist.

Sorry for joining in late... but how about:

Absolute no reliability in the NT documents.
1) not one author in the Bible claims to have met Jesus in person.
2) nothing can be known about an historical Jesus because the Gospels are hearsay upon hearsay.
3) the Bible has been edited and been added to substantially by anonymous people. The evidence is there in the different manuscripts found. Who knows what their motive was.

Stricking similarities between Christianity and older religions.
1) Mithraism portrayed Mithra as having a last supper.
2) virtually all the Catholic rituals were also in Mithraism, as the B grade apologist Justin Martyr tells us.

Also, because you are Catholic, you get the anti-Christian arguments+:

Your priests are perverted paedophiles who are protected by what is meant to be the body of people who propagate the Holy word of Gawd. Absolutely sickening.

I really wanted to get more of my reasons down but I'm meeting up with someone now so I have to go. Another one before I leave though: nowhere in the OT does it say the messiah will be born of a virgin. A young woman, yes, but NOT virgin.

If this doesn't make it into the dictionary as a textbook example of the word "irony", there's no justice.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
