RE: AtlasS..
Much as I adore Bruce The Chin and The Evil Dead saga, I think Gort would like a word with you, re The Day The Electricity Went Off For Half An Hour:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Quote:I have to tolerate racism regularly from an extreme racist. His exact words on the middle east is that we should draw a line around it on a map and sink the fucking place into the ocean and it will solve most of the world's problems. The other day there was hip-hop on the radio and he exclaimed loudly in public "who's playing the jiggaboo music?" He spent part of his childhood growing up in the USA.

The "jiggaboos" that he seems to hate as much as white South Africans hate kaffirs, are actually a stronger and physically superior being compared to the white Americans due to the fact that their race is a product of Eugenics. Being oppressed and enslaved, only the strongest were allowed to reproduce.

I don't know how you can tolerate that. A person who agrees on nuking a certain area & wipeout all its population is just a sick person, and also dangerous. I might agree with you on "remaining silent" instead of "tolerating", though I understand what you mean by tolerating in this case.
Sometimes, I too must shut the fuck up when a racist matter pops up ; it doesn't mean that I tolerate it .

Quote:Our good for nothing foreign-born prime minister recently decided to oust a sitting senator in favour of an aboriginal celebrity (who was a non-party member) as the ALP's primary candidate! The sitting senator, Trish Crossin, is furious. Crossin has held her Senate seat since 1998. I don't like to see racially motivated decisions like this, Aboriginal candidates should have to play by the same rules as everybody else, but hey what do I know, I'm a Liberal Party member and we already have an Aboriginal in parliament. His name is Ken Wyatt, and he is the first Aboriginal to ever hold a seat in the House of Representatives. Oh and he won the seat in 2010 away from the ALP, unlike the ALP parachuting their indigenous Senate candidate into a safe Labor seat!

Australia, huh ?
But how is this decision racist ? I don't know a lot about Australia, but after search ; all of them are white Thinking
I don't have a lot of knowledge about the Australian community, I would appreciate a small description about how life goes their -racially & politically-.

Quote:I do have an important question for you also, this is from another thread:
Muslims begin by arguing that the OT and the NT are scripture (the word of God), but that they are presently inaccurate and their original form is lost. Even though this argument is easily refuted with modern textual criticism, agreeing with you that to claim that the word of God is not perfect is infidelity, AtlasS, how can you justify doing it to the OT and NT scriptures which you believe are the word of God?

The Quran is kept safe from forging by god, due to our weakness he took the mission upon himself.

With the OT+NT, that wasn't the case ; the mission of keeping the book safe was on the shoulders of the priests, god didn't promise to keep their books by himself, rather he decided to test them with that. The Quran is the conclusion of that test ; obviously they couldn't keep it.
But let's not discuss religion here : ) we can talk about this in details in any religious section -you can start the topic and just send me the link-.

Nothing important, just a cute delivery. Mostly, googly images has been shit for me, lately. Makes quickly nabbing an image a pain in the ass.

All the better, since I test to see if it works... and post it. Then I come back a few hours later/a day later: it no longer works. Infuriating, really.

Agreed. Ran across my cousin having an argument on Facebook with this person, it's literally the funniest thing I've seen on FB!

Quote:"Devil's Lettuce"
http://www.facebook.com/BanWeed

"Stop smoking weed,
it won't do the deed.

Cannabis is bad.
not hip, not rad!

Don't smoke what'll kill you because it makes you look cool,
because in the eyes of God, you'll always look like a tool."

"Canadians are such potheads! I mean just look at their flag, it has a pot leaf on it!!!"

"Maybe if Bob Marley didn't smoke so much pot, he wouldn't have died from cancer."

"I think I might have my page removed soon by Facebook. Not by my own will no, I think Facebook itself will remove it because of all the reports the minions of Satan have been sending in."
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Interesting AtlasS. Are you claiming that crystal meth, cocaine, heroin cannot be used/taken responsibly with low risk?

She wants a minority and celebrity to be in the Senate, and she's parachuting this person into a "safe Labor seat" at the expense of the hardworking elected candidate that's currently serving and wants to continue serving. It's entirely racially motivated and giving preferential treatment to somebody with no political experience based on their race.

yep, it gets more harder with time -looking for avatars in google-, back in the day I didn't remember any struggle finding any, maybe my taste was just crappier than now.

Thanks, Lilly, I'll add a small touch on that one & use it Wink

This one precisely cracked me up. Problem is many don't even try the thing, but still talking about it like experts :/ I hate humans.

Of course. "Responsibility" comes in when you can control what you're doing. It's impossible to take an addictive drug "responsibly", with heroin I feel it's a one needle ; then you'll probably get hooked. Weed is the negation of all that.

Sometimes I'm forced to cut down smoking & stop it, especially during exams which go for two weeks most of the time ; I don't feel a physical argue to smoke, it's a lot easier than quitting food !

That's why we always need to look for people who don't chase their advantage when speaking politically ...
I never saw such a figure Thinking

Oh, I think I remember hearing something about australia in the news before two weeks or so ; isn't this a result of defining the natives as "the real owners of the country" ? or something like that ?

That page has a lot of gems on itWink Poor Canadians.
I'm certain it's a parody site though, but still. Who knows? They claim the Westboro church, so.. you never know!
Did you say you live in Egypt? Or am I making that up? I'm too lazy to look up my flighty thought right now..

You should have quit while you were "ahead". I know more than one person who have used coke recreationally for more than 10 years without becoming addicted. If you don't use coke regularly it is near impossible to become addicted to it. Once again you show how little you actually know. FYI I remain opposed to all illicit drugs.

One moment, he argues that use of marijuana will get Atlas addicted, the next he says that he knows more than one person who has used cocaine for 10 years (all of them?) and aren't addicted to it.

Sometimes, I feel it's just better to ignore what he says, or drown under the cascading absurdity. Sleepy
