The word libertarian/liberal has changed meanings

Liberal used to mean pretty much what people in the US would call libertarian, hence the term, 'classical liberal', you no good mooching social(ist) liberals even appropriated the word from us .

He is not a libertarian, not in the US sense of the word. Over in Europe though where, as TGaC pointed out, us libertarians are still called liberals, libertarian means something else,

Libertarian does indeed include anarcho-syndacalist.

I would not say that I accept this exactly. I am a non-capitalist minarchist, I used to be an anarchist.

I do not identify much with classical liberalism/libertarianism (Hayek, Smith, etc) although I see it as a tool to reach the next stage of economic organization. I have lost my confience in state socialism as the way to produce a more just world and see it as authoritarian and philosophically empty. Honestly, I don't know much about economics, I am not an economist, but I am skeptical that the problems with capitalism cannot be overcome.

I am inspired by the non-capitalist organization of the monastic movement.

Chomsky was my favorite author like 10 years ago. I used to be a Chomsky fanatic. We have since parted ways some, but I still agree with some things he says.
