So true leo, but my point is that Obamas plans are impractical. Sure, he is good at schmoozing but that is not going to resolve the many crises we find ourselves in. He keeps making promises he cant keep and his false reassurances in his public speeches just make him look like a liar in the public eye. I admit he did inherit one hell of a mess when he took office but he should still be truthful and realistic to the people. Creating false hopes just makes him look like an ass.

The voters don't want the "truth" C/P. Far too many of them want a cheerleader who will tell them "we're number #1." Sad, but there it is.

Hardly the point. If we define politicians as dishonest, then what is the point of government? Either there should be more anarchists around, people don't care about dishonesty, or people think that eventually we'll get to a point where government is more open.

I think the arguments for the third are more powerful, and I stay with my Libertarian principles in having a more open government such that corruption is reduced and the people have the power.
