Another thing about the finale is that at the beginning we hear one of the Gallifreyans say "what kind of idiot would try and steal a faulty TARDIS" ... why can't Moffat get these little things right? It should be "what kind of idiot would try and steal a faulty Time Travel Capsule?" There is only ONE "TARDIS" and it gets its name from Susan.

I'd have to take issue with that. From Wikipedia:

Susan Foreman, the Doctor's granddaughter, claimed to have coined the name TARDIS: "I made [it] up from the initials." The word TARDIS is used to describe other Time Lords' travel capsules as well. The Discontinuity Guide, written by Paul Cornell, Keith Topping, and Martin Day, suggests that "[she] was a precocious young Time Lady, and her name for travel capsules caught on."

So it's quite likely that either (a) Susan invented the word and it caught on prior to her leaving Gallifrey, or (b) since she made it up from the initials, other people also did the same, and she isn't the sole inventor of the word.

Good points, though in The Deadly Assassin the TARDIS is referred to by Gallifreyans such as Castellan Spandrell as "a type 40 TT capsule". Maybe the name caught on with the general Gallifreyan public and only retained its technical classification with specialists and similar?

If the only two people who know the Doctor's name are the Doctor and River, and they're both dead, who set his name as the password?

I think the bigger problem is that if the person answering the First Question was always going to be River, wouldn't the Silence have been better off just not fucking with the Doctor in the first place?

That finale was great, but I thought the 50th anniversary episode was going to have David Tennant in it? Didn't see him anywhere. Rose either, but that's a mercy.

I went to see Star Trek: Into Darkness today, and I was disappointed with the ending. All I'm gonna say is, if you have 72 genocidal maniacs, the Doctor would friggin' kill them all. That's basically all Daleks are, and he wiped the Daleks the FUCK OUT. Captain Kirk is a fucking PUSSY next to the Doctor.
