The Doctor's a dick. I just watched "the girl who waited" and he fucking shut the goddamn door on Amy's future self. The one he left for 37yrs to fend for herself. The one he used to save the younger Amy, knowing he couldn't save her. Then he turns around and sticks his tongue out at the one Amy he did save, like he's cute.
Kirk is just hot. I don't know why you're blaming Kirk, it was Spock who saved them
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Isn't that another retcon? I believe that it used to be 12 regenerations? Or, did that always mean 13 lives, the original life plus 12 more?
And in any case, the final regeneration of the doctor is an evil doctor. The Colin Baker doctor came across him.

Holy crap! John Hurt is going to be the 12th Doctor? I really loved Tennet as the Doctor, but, really am not a fan of Matt Smith. That, and since I don't have a good reliable source to watch, I hadn't been watching. There are some websites that you can view Dr. Who on, or at least there were. But they weren't perfectly reliable. I don't have any cable TV.
So, I guess I might as well ask, where to most people watch? In England, BBC of course. In the US, I think SyFy at least used to carry it, still the case? But, as I said, I don't have cable.
If Hurt is going to be the 12th Doctor, that's the last one before we get to the evil doctor! So, how is that going to play out?

Yeah, but it turns out Colin Baker was wrong about where the "evil" doctor comes in...
He's the 9th doctor, according to the info leaked, played by John Hurt:
He'd be introduced as "doctor who", but David Tennant had them change the credits from "Dcotor Who" to "The Doctor" when he portrayed Doctor Who!

Well maybe they should give us a season of Vanguard (John Hurt) before doctor 13!? That'd be great...

I've met enough celebs to contain myself when I know where they live. Kate Moss lived in the house directly opposite me until like a year ago, and there'd be famous people coming and going all the time!

Did you mean the Valeyard? I agree, an evil Doctor would make for an interesting run of stories.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
