Yeah... But does your opinion have to be exactly the fucking same on every single subject? Are you ever going to even explain what you even mean? The suspense is killing us all!

Do you believe in cheating?

Nah, I don't buy it. I'd say that sociopaths are more likely to have an objective morality outlook on things, even.

i don't really care about "morality". anything goes in life, does it not?
i'm honest about my views/intentions. i think subjectivists should be also. (June 5, 2013 at 2:12 pm)Gilgamesh Wrote: Nah, I don't buy it. "who gives a fuck what happens?" "people can do as they please. who gives a shit? lol.." how is that not sociopathic? and when somebody questions a subjectivist concerning so-called inhumane acts, they often say "meh, shit happens." hmm... that is empathy right there, is it not? Maybe they have an objective sense of morality but theirs just doesn't match with everybody else's. Actually, nevermind, I wasn't really thinking about it. That's still subjective.
So, you're an anarchist? I'm not. And my morality is not subjective, its based on what's most lucrative and logical for interpersonal relations and society.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
This part of sociopathy:
"a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others" Just doesn't fit the bill for most moral subjectivists, methinks.
Sociopaths don't have empathy. I haven't met a single one on this forum. Besides possibly you. But, I'll bite. Please elaborate on what you're talking about. I'm too tired to get on my laptop so I can view your profile and you're new to me. Are you an agnostic?

Not all moral subjectivists are sociopaths. I'm glad we got to the bottom of this. no, all subjectivists are sociopaths. as said, sociopaths hold no morality, or even comprehension of it. if my opinion is "wrong", then state as such. |
