I live in the Midwest because my husband and I were both born here and he wants to stay. I'd rather be in southernmost Florida or the central coast of California. I have never liked it here.

I live in a small beach village north of San Diego. I moved here eight years ago to escape the horrible winters in Upstate New York, and fell in love with my area immediately.
I was born here in San Diego, and have my parents in Del Mar, immediately north of San Diego. I did not want to move back from Pittsburgh, PA. I like the east. But my health went downhill, and there is better medical infrastructure for me here in San Diego, so I moved back in '09.

California, across the bay from San Francisco in Berkeley. I am so lucky for the climate, the natural beauty all around and the cultural opportunities. Less lucky when it comes to cost of living and the taxes. As long as we can afford it I don't want to go anywhere. With any luck we'll make it to the grave without having to move. (When you've lived in a warehouse for over 30 years, moving isn't an option .. without dynamite.)

I'm in Corpus Christi for work. July 6th I will have been here for a year, and I'm long past ready to get the fuck out. I wasn't supposed to be here for this long. It hasn't been as bad as it could have been though considering the last time I left Texas in 1983 I swore I'd never go back.

I live in my home town of Valrico, FL. I live there due to family and weather.
I wouldn't mine living in the West Coast or to the North.
I am currently in the Middle East as a contractor for the US Gov't.

East coasters want to become west coasters, Mid westerners wanna live in Florida, Floridians say never move to Florida.. It's a confugglement, I say!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's
sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god
does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

My wife is from here and she has more roots than I did where I was. Though, she doesn't really want to stay here in Kentucky, and I'd be glad to get out of the south.
I'd like to move to Washington state, but that's probably too far for her.
