I think good arguments can be made for at least some level of genetic determination of behaviour:
Personality and intellect are genetically determined to some degree. These factors effect our perception and hence what we learn and how we respond to experience.
It's also my perception that some behaviours are hardwired.Eg The flight/ response is instinctive and leads indirectly to xenophobia. Traits of empathy and compassion have also been observed in other primates,implying a genetic factor.
I reject the notion of spiritual as I understand it. Viz; based on a dualistic world view.
