A strong national economy regulated by an authoritarian government is the way to true prosperity and humane living conditions.

So you support communism then?

I wonder if mehmet realizes that one of the few true examples of what he is talking about was Nazi Germany.

This should be interesting.

In the blue corner, hailing from the camp of anarchist cultism - regarded by most the greatest anti-government fanatic on the forum, he thinks all government is inherently evil and all political power in hands of thieves and robbers - INTRODUCING KOOLAY.

In the red corner, hailing from the lands of chauvinist nationalism - wearing the Turkish flag as a cape, he supports an authoritarian and invasive government with the economic ideal of National Socialist (Nazi) Party - INTRODUCING KILIÇ_MEHMET.

Hang on to your seats, folks. This is going to be a crazy ride.

Given he has lauded the Nazis in the past, I'm sure he is quite aware of it.

Tosh.

As Brian replied to you, economics is not some entity that exists only to those who run/operate a business. Economics is integral to the political system that we all exist in. It's not a 'thing', it's a concept, to which we place arbitary values on in which to draw meaning and utility.

Anyone can understand the basics of economic system. Really, it's not that difficult. The most difficult part is understanding the difference between heuristics and workability when placing economic theory into practice with the variable of real, stupid, ignorant human beings added into the equation.

This seems to be the variable you don't understand, leading me to conclude that others on this thread (And all the others you have started about the same topic) know more about economics than you.

If you resist any one of the government's hundreds of thousands of laws, whether you agree with them or not, whether they are wrong or not- if you resist enough you will be shot. That is the chilling effect of government, every law or regulation, is backed up by the threat of murder.

Oh, bollocks. I've broken hundreds of laws in my life. When I was caught, I was punished. But no one - and I do mean NO one - ever threaten to have me shot over any crime of which I was accused. This includes the days of my misspent youth, when my mates and I were firmly convinced that we could undo the Act of Union by breaking a few shop windows and setting the occasional abandoned Morris mini alight.

Do you really expect us to believe that governments shoot people for traffic infractions, or not picking up dog poo? You're round the bend, you are.

Go away Mehmet, Koolay has hogged all the crazy tickets for this thread. We can deal with your racism in another. Now, shoo!

No, but being awake in social studies at school oddly enough gives you a good idea of what's going on.

I'm sorry, but how is Capitalism a threat?

a) Shot for resisting? Hardly, or what kind of ghetto do you live in..?
b) The people chose their government. Educated people with knowledge of how their immediate society works can make informed decisions and elect adequate people to be part of the government. So, if you're unhappy about the state of the state, you should demand better education for all. Oh, but I forgot, you despise anything educational. Here's the deal: There are different systems all over the world, I'm pretty sure there is a nice nook somewhere in the backwaters of the world, where you can settle down and never have to worry about governments again. Then again, you could actually try to do some difference locally (read: not here, it's pretty obvious you're not gonna get any followers from AF) and come up with a decent suggestion of what would actually work.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
