Ok I'll define God as God and one of his aspects is omnibenevolence (?). The problem is that God is unknowable and outside the universe. All we can do is get an idea of God, which we assign attributes. A lot of atheists attribute mankind's evil and hate as an attribute of God and perhaps I was being a little short because I'm al little frustrated.

So where does man get the idea of God if he is outside our universe, and therefore a non entity to our universe?
Like a man in sensory deprivation, does he really know there is a man in an ape suit dancing in front of him, or is he just guessing?
If the man in an ape suits calls him on the phone and says that I'm a man in an ape suit then yes.
Man gets his idea of God from drawing conclusion on observable nature and reality and logic that are affected by God through creation and revelation. Ah, but the man who calls you claiming to be in the ape suit when you don't know if there was a man dancing in an ape suit in front of you when you were sensory deprived might not be the same man because there may have never been such an event. |
