Is that the main cause for your depression or is that just what you attribute your depression to?
Life is about a lot more than just relationships. What do you think is the biggest barrier to you finding someone? Methinks you are suffering from the dreaded self-fulfilling prophecy, dude. If you "truly believe" you will never find everyone - then you won't. And check out that banner at the bottom of your posts. You sure you are not obsessed with this? Maybe you need to step back a bit? Just sayin'... edited for spelling

Maybe try buying into the God thing, and focus on some more selfless things, and find meaning through that. I don't know how bad the disability is, but volunteering might be a good route to go. Helping others would add some purpose, and probably meet some nice people.
When things are going poorly, being introverted is only going to make things worse.

This is not a scientific theory, but the more you look for girlfriends, the more they seem to evade you. Also notice that once you get one, alot of others start competing for your attention. Just don't be over anxious about it and act naturally, next time you notice there is someone you may choose to fight for.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I think you should, for now, be open to the idea that there's more to life than girls. Take a day and go to the park, buy an ice cream and a pack of peanuts and feed some squirrels. If you have a car go on a road trip, make a list of all the beautiful things you can see and all the good food you can try, talk to people, have some fun, take pictures and write postcards to your friends and family.
If you keep focusing on something that isn't working out, you're not going to be happy. I'm not saying it'll never work out, it will, it does for most people, but there are perks in being single as well, and you should enjoy them while you're single.
Idk what to call myself, i guess im not atheist, but im definetly not christian, even when i thought i was christain i didn't and don't agree with 99% of the stuff in the bible, and it seems to me like christains just choose to love and believe in god because thats what their faith tells them, but im the only oen on the planet who thinks things are pretty messed up in this world
 is there any religion like me? i feel so outcaste, i never fit in anywhere even with religion. and honestly just sayin, u guys are all much friendlier then christain people, they can be such dicks on their forum (maybe following their god?) i made a thread like this a year or so ago and they just said i need more faith and need to stop sinning and stuff... :| but jia, i guess ill just stop thinking about religion stuff since it makes me more upset- do u guys think that in time if i stop thinking about god and stuff i will stop beliving in him and become a 100% atheist? but i will keep beliving in and loving my angel gf as i made a thread about a while ago, she gives me some joy and makes things more bearable for me. 
None of the things You mentioned are going to make You happy. Except maybe a girlfriend but if You are so obsessed about having a girlfriend should You not have 1 by now? Where is your ambition, man?
When was the last time You were in a joyful state of mind? What kinds of motives do You have planned? Like, any projects? Something to do as a hobby? Something that pisses You off? I need something to work with here. |
