Atheists only object when their special interpretation of the bible differs from yours and/or when it’s the same as yours and/or when they say the bible is all man-made lies about imaginary vile deeds that never happened to anybody and were never done by a Being who cant possibly exist because we have mapped the entire space/time multi-verse and conclusively shown that no such Being exists.

I'd say it goes beyond mere endorsement and rises to the level of enjoyment. Christians revel in vicarious hatred they can parade in the name of religion and the freedom of its expression. It's one of their many endearing qualities.

How many millions have to do this to make it a valid general statement in your opinion? If I find a non-racist KKK member do we suddenly drop all criticism of the group as racist? Many of us here were ourselves once christian and personally knew thousands of self proclaimed christians. If we use it as a general statement, it generally has merit to apply to a very great many of them. It is understood that we are generalizing a bit.
