Then jail Obama.

Him and Bush both.

Well with Bush, I'd include Cheney with them as I think Bush wasn't the brains behind the operation. Mind you Obama is also quite unintelligent, but he can actually function unlike Bush.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

I disagree. Obama is a very intelligent person. It's why he's doing so much of a better job violating our constitution and committing war crimes than Bush did.

I'm surprised though that he was so ready to go in the whole Syria situation. He didn't even hide his anxiousness to go to war. Wasn't gonna bother waiting for the investigation to be complete. Luckily Putin made a bitch outta him.

You should really read that FBI report I posted earlier. You know, the one where it clearly demonstrated that terrorism is only really a problem in the two countries we invaded. Everywhere else it's a very very rare occurrence.
We went into Afghanistan because the Taliban was allowing Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda to headquarter, recruit, and operate terrorist training camps there. From Afghanistan, Osama Bin Laden planned and carried out the 911 attacks on the Twin Towers and on the Pentagon. When the U.S. demanded that the Taliban either turn over Bin Laden or lose power, they decided they'd rather gamble on losing power than give up Bin Laden. Bin Laden escaped the invasion and hid in Pakistan where we eventually went and killed him....It's better to kill the terrorists where ever else they may be than have to deal with them over here.

9/11 was a decade ago my friend. Don't you think it's time to move on? When Hitler died we didn't spend a bunch of extra years running around Germany and Japan ( That was an extra stupid typo ).

Also, that really doesn't explain what we were doing in Iraq.

Except you did 'run around Germany in that Southern German was under US occupation until 1990 -ie 45 years after the war ended. No Idea what the reference to China was about. Did you mean Japan?

I had just woken up and apparently my brain decided China meant Japan. I fixed it xD

Russia had the other half of Germany and we wound up in the cold war...so I think my point still stands. Sticking around in places we don't belong only brings further troubles.

Er...no you claimed without any justification whatsoever that 'we didn;t spend a bunch of extre years....etc etc' Indeed that was complete invention on your part which leads me to wonder if you actually bother to research anything before you post

So you would have refereed for Russia to have just annexed all of Germany? I know plenty of Germans and am married to one they are all very glad that the USA and the UK were in occupation after the war.

I'm starting to get the feeling that I've made a slight hiccup in my argument stance....backtracking in 3...2...1 ( And yes this is me admitting I've made a mistake here )

Going back to the issue I know beyond a limited highschool exposure.

The whole 'War on Terror' is a joke. It's a perpetual war where the bad guy changes every so often, and we never actually win. The goal of it is to expand the powers of the government and intrude ourselves both internationally and into the lives of our own citizens. It has nothing to do with keeping anyone safe.

If they wanted to keep us safe from threat of death we'd have a much higher priority set on mental health care in the United States since most shootings and even bombings in this country are performed by people with serious mental disorders and not Jihadists.

This all started as a terror fueled over reaction to something that happens way more often in other countries around the world. America has pretty good track record with avoiding attacks by other countries, or at least not being the target of them. We have Pearl Harbor and 9/11. I don't personally know of any others ( If there are others please offer them to the discussion )

We killed Hussein and Bin Laden, but for some reason we still need to be in their country. What are we going to do? Stay there for all of time? They'll keep replacing the head every time we cut it off and like the hydra each slice brings extra heads to the mix so we're really just making things worse.

This notion that we somehow have the right to force our way into other countries and slaughter civilians over something that happened a decade ago is laughable at best.

We've killed more of their innocent civillians than they killed, probably multiple times over even.

We're drone striking third world countries that I'm not even sure why we're messing with them. When did we get involved with Yemen, and how many more countries are we going to force our way into?

We're killing terrorists in other countries because the governments there are either unwilling or unable, or both, to deal with the terrorists themselves. Islamic terrorists have declared a Jihad on the United States, and since 911 our country has no reason not to believe that they wouldn't try another attack on our soil. So it's better to kill the terrorists over there than it is to have to deal with them here.
