Except the Jews don't want to hurt the "Palestinians", they even tried to give them their own country with the Oslo Accords. Israel thought that this would stop "Palestinian" terror, but terror actually increased after the signing of the Oslo Accords. The Israelis are forced to act in self-defence.

Did you even read the story Min posted? How do you shoot a school aged child in self defense? Do I need to post it again or am I going to have to do five minutes worth of googling to find a dozen more stories exactly like that?

The School age child in this case was 15, quite capable of killing.
The intifada is a waste of time. 10 Palestinians die for every Israeli and people don't care anymore. Hamas have blown away much credibility.

Secondly Hamas and Hezbollah are now deadly enemies as they are on different sides in Syria.

Any ally of the United States that was this prejudiced based on a genetic/religious basis against some of its citizens / local inhabitants would be hugely ridiculed by the left. The Left in the US has been quite docile when it comes to Israel until recently.

The reason that Israel gets so much attention is because its main ally is the global superpower and others resent that relationship. If Israel was alone in the region and doing its thing without the US relationship no one would care. (and it wouldn't win so much.)
