I dare you to write the 10 commandments of not being a douchbag! All of them have to center on not cleaning shit out of assholes. Ahh, good point, what is good? In my understanding good is acting in accordance with that which is known to be moral. So in one study I have heard about, children were told they could not eat certain items on a table. When the authority figure was in the room they obeyed to stave off punishment but when left on their own they rebeled and ate much more than a similar group that was not given the same instructions. The study was about caloric intake and the effects of artificial barriers to food, potentiating overeating, but a similar test can be used to comprehend internal motivations using similar setups. The way I understand people, we are all kinda crazy and rarely stick to the behavior patterns we deem healthy or good. This is why there are so many fat people who want to be skinny, smokers that want to quit, or alchoholics that just can't give up the bottle. These are glaring examples but the more subtle ones are seen day to day, like failing to curtail outward signs of negativity in the workplace, one I fail to do on a regular basis.
