Why does an atheist forum have a discussion area on religion or philosophy? Atheism is a stance on belief in god. The common denominator is the religious stance. As a Christian I'm very interested in the same subject. I just have a different worldview. I've learnt a lot here, and developed and moved on in my thinking. That's what I want to do. If you've made your mind up and don't think you need to consider anything more then that's fine. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to how that's possible?

Well, atheists still join theists forums for discussion and stir. I don't think that theists should be banned from the atheist forums, but that's way off the topic of the thread.

I think that 'worldview' and 'philosophical outlook' are all fine and dandy... but they apply to so much that a person could put 'Capitalist' or 'Republican' in there as validly as 'Atheist' or 'Christian'.

'Stance regarding religion' certainly fits better than 'religious views'... but then one might only answer 'for', 'against', or the like. So i really have no idea now...

Yes... i believe that most religions claim a heaven or hell or some other form of reincarnation or afterlife?
