Are we scientists?

So what you're saying is that because we still don't know everything yet, sufficient to convince wrong people that they are wrong... they must be right. Despite not having any evidence. Dodgy

You can be tired of hearing my argument all you want, but that doesn't mean you've at all addressed it.

But people didn't know anything scientific back then. Nowadays people pretty much no the evidence for evolution and the evolution for creationism, and most pick the later.

More importantly, you don't get to tell us what we think. We'll tell you. In this case, it's a very well documented scientific fact how the planet was formed: gravity acts upon particles, drawing them in to form the core of the planet, and then drawing in more, and more, etc. You're not going to get away with an argument from ignorance here.

But most of the scientists who actually know all the evidence and understand what it means are atheists and accept evolution. That's been surveyed: what does it tell you, that the people who most understand the evidence are on our side and not yours? Thinking

My dad doesn't go on sites like this...
Did you SEE any of that happen? How do you know it happened? Maybe you atheists have more faith than you give yourselves credit for.

Afraid he might learn something?

Did you see god create the planet? Dodgy

If not, what shall we rely upon: an old book of demonstrably wrong stories, or the scientific evidence drawn together by trained, careful people? Dodgy

Well it is highly pressurised to be an atheist in the scientific community. Since non-believers are the ones who usually read about science, they'll often just ignore what an openly Christian scientist says as "creationist propaganda". Many likely think evolution is ridiculous, yet out of social pressure of the buisness claim it's true.

Did you see god create the earth?

We go where the evidence points, that is to say, scientists go where the evidence points. None of the evidence points and creationism or intelligent design.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

Eratosthenes calculated the circumfrence of the Earth two centuries before Christ with only a 2% error compared to modern measurement. You could have found this with a couple button clicks.
