Why is being picky a problem where it concerns our physical avatar in the only life we know we've got?

You, sir or madam, are a god/goddess. Clearly the atheists are all wrong.

Jeeze, get off god's back.

I bet you're the same kind of uptight person that has an issue with this kind of job competency.

It's a problem because you only live this life once, and instead of picking fault with it, you should enjoy and relish it. I thought that much was obvious.

That'd be a much easier prospect without all the aches, pains, and fatalities that come along with the faults in our bodies, that an intelligent designer could easily have fixed. That's sort of the point.

Step out into your garden and look up. That tiny little dot in the distance is the point of this thread flying over your head.

We're not without fault that is correct. We're all imperfect. No system created is or I don't believe can be perfect. We're about right. Wink

Meng, have you even read my op?
I agree that nothing is perfect, but some of these design flaws..... a 5 year old could design a better system. Don't you think that an all powerful, all knowing god could create a respiratory and digestive system that wouldn't result in thousands of people choking to death every year? And if he could, then why didn't he? The only conclusion I can think of is: he likes to see people die, which makes him evil. Or he can do nothing to stop it, which makes him impotent.
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech
