There is a cool internet app which encourages you to "vote for policies" rather than parties in the General Election. It's quite amazing seeing which parties you stand with on different policies. I chose to do the full quiz (the minimum is 4 policies) and here are my results:

Go to http://voteforpolicies.org.uk to take part. Post your results here and say if you were surprised at which parties you "support" policy-wise. For me, it was quite predictable. The Conservatives and UKIP are the closest approximations of Libertarianism in this country (apart from the tiny Libertarian Party UK), and the Lib Dems are supporters of individual Liberty and I share a few values with them.
