Doing science also requires honesty, insight and intellectual rigor. Logic and reason are critical but so are the others.

Scientists right?

If by that you mean suitably trained experts in their field then yes.

And what do these trained experts use to assimilate the information they gather?

O for christs sakes just get to your god damn point! No one wants to be asked a million fucking questions by a primitive mind with an agenda.

We got it ... you think Atheism is a faith. It's a worn out, beaten down old argument that a thousand ignorant christards have already tried to win. Spoiler: You can't win. It's not a faith. Refer to my signature below as a response to your next post.

An atheist exercises faith i.e trust or reliance upon something that cannot be proven when they trust in their cognitive faculties. They also trust in the scientific method even though the scientific method itself cannot be deemed reliable by alluding to what it has shown to be true because to do so would be to argue in a circle.

Scientist and atheist alike believe, trust in, have faith in the findings of science and that their cognitive faculties present them with a true picture of the world they live and work in even though neither can be proven without arguing in a circle.

computers, slide rules, pieces of paper, tables would come into it at some point and really strong coffee.

My primitive mind seems to be far more capable at basic logic than yours or anyone else's here with the exception of ChadWooters.

Now simmer down and stop making yourself appear to be the run of the mill angry anti-christian that lacks substantial argumentative capacities and either engage or disengage.

Have won. Present tense. Faith is a belief you hold without certainty. Having no particular belief about something is agnosticism. Outright denial of God is atheism. Denial is a belief.

Do scientists use their five senses at any time during any of this?
