Hence, it is theory.

It's actually laboratory observable, especially with bacteria. Which is part of why we have to keep developing antibiotics.

Yes but the bacteria doesn't become something totally different but stronger Bacteria.

I evolved when I took my Xanax too. This would be observable in a lab as well. When I started taking Xanax 2 milligrams would knock me out. Eventually I reached a point where I could pop over 10 mg and be up and about functioning well.

That's tolerance. It didn't alter your genetic code. So not evolution. It's impossible for an individual to evolve biologically. It only happens in populations of a species.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.

It's playing hide-and-seek with god.

Fortunately plenty of people have found evidence for evolution. God is still the world champion at hiding.

"You did WHAT?  With WHO?  WHERE???"

I think this thread just turned into a "macro vs. micro evolution" thread.

Thunder you are beyond annoying.

Process of evolution is happening all around us but at a very very very slow pace. I'm talking millions of years of mutation and adaptation.

Look up the history of dogs and how humans sped up the process by inducing and controlling what mates with what.

Gorillas aren't getting smarter because they are stronger and more equipped to survive without tools, thus they won't likely change unless we change their habitat and wait 25 million years to see how they evolved.

Again whenever evolution runs across your head you have to think of how big of a number is a million or 10 million years and how much a specie can change after a very long amount of time.

Even humans changed in 5000 years, only 5000 years!!

Cut him some slack the dude is VERY confused. Let the wisdom sink in his brain slowly.

People like him are the reason why god was invented. So they can shut the fuck up and live on.

Micro- vs Macro-evolution? Put a bunch of micros together and you get a macro. Wink

How old are you dude? Go get an education then come debate.
We aren't gonna see bacteria become something else in the 2000 years, again the level of change in a specie that you are requesting requires millions of years.

1 million = 1.000,000 years
Does that number look anywhere close to how long humans have started studying bacteria? No so shut the hell up

If we accept Thunders thinking that macro evolution does not happen it means we had same set of species forever.
Now it sounds like bullshit Wink Shades
