In fact even microbes can suffer. It's the in built system of reward and punishment. If an organism is damaged it gets the signals. They might not have a brain but I wouldn't be so sure that they don't feel some sort of pain.
I hear of women so tenderhearted they won't cut flowers for fear of hurting them. If only one of these would lose their virginity to me.

I am fine with killing. I am against suffering. So I try to kill things as fast as I can. For instance the cows I was slaughtering lived a very happy life. They got good food. They got fresh air. They had other cows as friends. And nobody was messing with em. Until I stick a knife into their brains. In fact I put myself through some discomfort in order to make death easier for them. The usual method of doing things is slicing throat in order to get the blood out(the heart will keep pumping it) which will be collected in a a bucket while animal will fight for it's life. In my case I simply stick a knife into their brain. Hang em upside down. Put a bucket under em. Slice throat. And let blood slowly get drained by gravity. Takes longer time but no suffering involved. The chickens are easy though. Just cut their head off with an axe and it's done.
Everything living requires something else to die so it may continue to live.
