My Japanese Sleeve: Completed
So finally finished off my Sleeve Tattoo. It took 3 sessions each 6 hours during the sitting.

This isn't the finished one but I have not taken it yet.

That is a bad ass tattoo bro, i know that shit hurts too! Did you get the elbow done as well? It feels so weird! Like needle hitting bone.. but then again i might just have some thin ass skin :p

Anyways nice bro! you should get one on the other arm to balance it out.

I love Japanese tats. I am curious as to why you chose that style. Is it the artwork or do you have something that connects you to it?

It is a tattoo of the Lotus Flowers, Bamboo, and Buddha on the chest piece.

As a Buddhist (Nichiren Buddhist - Japanese) it reminds me of the changes I have made within my life, from the service, to wheelchair, to the streets, to regaining life. I shaved my head (Monistiac reasons), and got this tattoo so I would never forget where I was and who I have become.

IF/when I get mad I will see the Lotus and remember I am not who I use to be.

But that is why I got it. The Japanese had a way of peaceful style in their tattoo, the flow and way about it intertwined with the lifestyle I have adapted.
