Should U.S.A. actively pursue in the removal of Putin?

Hello, Should USA pursue a policy to actively remove Pres. Putin? and replace him with Socialists, Communists, or Nationalists? I think it is best we promote a policy which will help the Socialistic parties within Russia(there are 3 which are listed in the Duma) and to strengthen relations with Russia and work with Russia with our space program and global foreign policy objectives.

I don't think so. An successful policy to weaken and remove Russian president necessarily grossly weakens Russia as a major independent power in Euroasia for the short to medium term. Regardless of American loathing for a Russia that does not either keel over and die immediately, or resign itself to doing American bidding while slowingly withering away, Russia has been an active, calculating, and rational independent power pursuing rational self interests. Given the track record of American bad behavior and clumsiness and lack of astuteness when it has a freehand to interfere in world events, the world would not be better off if we remove Russia as a major independent power with the will and capacity to pursue rational self-interests contrary to the desires of American ambition.

So, no, we should keep Putin because we are better off with a strong enemy that can keep our more extravagant excesses and blunders in some check.

1. Removing Putin, through helping an alternative party or coalition, will not destabilize Russia because of the OLIGARCHS. The Socialistic parties are at least willing to coexist with them.
2. A pattern has developed which has shown that Putin's behavior is not consistent with stable leadership.
3. The socialistic alternative will give Russia a stable leadership and make sure America is in check because it is ...SOCIALISTIC!
4. The previous points highlights a stable and reasonable Russia not an unstable one! In other words, an INDEPENDENT POWER and VOICE in Europe and Asia (Euroasia) with the Socialistic parties in power.

Wrong, the person who opted for...Far-Right??? Never will happen because then the Russian people will never forget the NAZIs. Anyone could simply use that idea(and lose elections in Russia) and of course the Nationalists are very small in the previous voting percentage anyway. The only ones which have increased in voting percentage are the socialistic parties who talk about bread&butter issues(also those who have been kicked out of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation ---> The Patriotic party). The future horizon for Russia after Putin is the Socialistic parties who are NOT Far-Left(Communist parties) and Far-Right(Neo-Nazi like parties which by the way has always gotten a small percentage of the vote) , nor Conservative Statists (Putin has NOW spoiled it for these kinds of political species within Russia). Therefore, the only parties that are not SPOILED(to lose) are the new and recent Socialistic parties.

This is a perfect WINDOW-OF-OPPORTUNITY (E.E. Schattschneider idea) for the Socialistic parties within Russia to totally present a cogent political argument against Putin. The only thing America needs is a President with a great vision that would unite the two nations (only on a global idea and initiative and NOT into one nation). I think something like -- The Global Polar initiative or the Bering Alliance or the Bering Federation -- which would work to improve both of their societies and remove nuclear weapons and work on space colonization together.etc.

America kept Bush for 8 years and Obama looks to serve a full 8 as well. It would be hypocritical to remove Putin from power given the freedom they give to their own leaders.
