Just a bit of friendly teasing is all.
Would you maybe like to be nice to anyone on the forum and make some friends? I mean I like to be friends.

Uh-oh.

Oh look! Another un-falsifiable claim that you cannot demonstrate.

When you get angry with my replies to your posts, you are seeing what type of a person you actually are and more importantly (since I am self-centered and all about how you people make atheists look) how your actions make normal atheists appear when theists use you as a stereotype.

Clearly you don't mirror the 'provide evidence for claims' part.

I'm curious, have you had a bad experience in the past with an American to make you hate them so much. It's an entire country and it appears as though you hate everyone in it. Seems a bit unfair.

Don't bother, it looks like Polaris's persecution complex is impenetrable. But he's nice to 99% of the peoples! For reals!

RE: Religious Tolerance
Asshat is indeed an American word.....I wasn't hating on an entire nation with that comment...maybe just the Republican states which frankly is the norm for people who don't live in those states to do. If you don't like it, move to a state that's not chalk full of people with automatic rifles.

And yes, karma (well more so how it applies to this life than the next)....it's why you guys always end up pushed outside the circle...it's not about your atheism, but about how you behave in public; just compare yourself with the 99% of other atheists in America who have never got into confrontation because of their lack of belief.....not whining about persecution like the wacko atheists or the Christian Fundies do so often.

Religious Tolerance = +/- 3°
"The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions" - Leonardo da Vinci

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

Polaris, are you spying on us? Do you follow us around? How the hell do you know how we act in public?

And 99%? I know for a fact you pulled that out of your ass. A lot of atheists don't get into confrontations because of the sheer hostility towards them. And when they do, its not because of their lack of belief, it's because their rights are being infringed on. Would you like to have muslim prayers held in your classroom? No, exactly.

And please, atheists 'whining' about being persecuted? Atheists are the most distrusted group of people in America. You only need to read facebook comments to know how much we are despised, you know, the ones where they say we shouldn't be citizens or we should be shot or killed. We aren't 'whining' about being persecuted, we are standing up to a very real smear campain.

I have been threaten before. I was told I should be killed to see what hell is like. Why? Why would you want to kill someone at all? The Ten Commandments rings a bell? I guess it only applies to believers.

I being persecuted for not believing, and I do not want believers to be persecuted as well, but they should learn to keep to themselves in public.

Yes...99% is a little low for the people I get along with actually, but I didn't want to have the number too high just in case I meet a shithead such as yourself....there's always a possibility I will meet an atheist of your class in my daily life, extremely unlikely but not impossible.

I read Facebook comments from other atheists who see your type as the scum of the earth right next to the Christian Fundamentalists....it's the atheists who tend to hate you the most these days.

Frankly, they've had enough of your bullshit ending up reflecting on their normal behavior. They hate you more so than the Christians who probably want to help you (maybe because they generally care about you or maybe because they want more to be Christian like themselves...who knows)...those atheists just want you to stay out of the public sphere and never interact with anyone.

Just like most Christians are respected, only the ones who act like those from WBC etc are pissed upon, most atheists are also respected. It's people like you are not respected.
