Muslim boyfriend

So, my boyfriend is a Muslim and I'm an Atheist. What do you guys (other Muslims) think about that?

Not enough information to go on. What flavour of muslim is he. Does he really believe (in which case there is no hope for the relationship) or is he a muslim like Jon Stewarts a jew.

Well, it's hard to explain. If you've read some of my other posts, I've already said that he doesn't really pray or abide by many of the typical Muslim rules but he still won't eat anything that's no halal. Having said that, he's just a pacifist who doesn't really bother with much as long as you don't bother him.

Muslim-man, is ok to marry with non-muslim woman, but only for non muslim which are whether christian(catholic, protestant) and judaism. Means, he shouldnt marry you..this is pure islam law. Not from my standpoint.

The thing is there are many older Muslims men who were quite liberal in their youth, and, have turned out to be terrorist supporting womanising polygamists.

Ever heard of Anjem Choudary ? Quite famous over the pond in the UK.

Has links to many a terrorist group and terrorist act, was linked and pictured with the be headers of Lee Rigby among others and advocates Sharia for all Britons.

His being a Muslim is not an idiosyncratic trait or quirk that will disappear. As I said, the evidence of how bad these relationships can often end is not to be overlooked.

I am not sure by your other posts whether you were eating Halal or avoiding food during his Ramadan thing. Even if only out of convenience, on occasion ?

1.In which country is he from ? (I ask it because that can influence his views. For example an Arab from Saudi Arabia will certainly be more faithful to Islam that a Wolof man [a tribe mainly present in Senegal that speak Wolof]).

2.Is he a Sunni ? If he's a Sunni what is his madhab ? If he isn't a Sunni what is he ? (I'm asking this question because the degree of Islamic problem that you can have are the same if he is a Sunni or not but there are a variation of degrees).

3.Where are you from and what is your ethnic group ? (I'm asking this question to have a better overview of the situation. I'm not asking your nationality. Example of nationalities : American , British , New-zealander etc... I'm asking your ethnic group. Example of ethnic group for USA : Afro-American , Latino/a , Native Americans , Non-White WASP , WASP etc...).

4.Where do you live ?

Personally , I will say you what I think. This is better to be with someone with the same religion / spirituality / philosophy to avoid any problems with these stuff.
