Some months ago I had posted a thread on this forum in which I tried to clear this misconception among people that Islam is linked to Terrorism. I explained that Islam does not allow killing of any other person and Quran and Sunnah testify to this fact. I also said that most Muslims just cherry pick a verse of Quran and use it to support their false argument of Islamic Jihad.
Now during this Peshawar School Attack which happened last December in which many innocent children were killed by Taliban was the worst massacre in the history. My brother who studied in 8th Grade also embraced martyrdom during this attack. I have still not shaken the effects of this predicament that befell on me and I cannot explain how broken I m. I also wrote a letter in form of blog in tribute to my brother which is here.A letter to my brother Give it a read.
This is not to convince you about Islam but to let you know that even we who are Muslims in truest sense are the victims of such terrorists. Taliban is an ideology and they dont have any religion despite the fact that they proclaim themselves as Muslims. Muslims like us still exist who believe that Islam has always promoted love among humanity. We are in a war with such bloody and coward extremists.
Also one day we will take the revenge from them. But in doing so , we will not kill their women or children because this is what we've been instructed. Neither will we slaughter innocent children in front of others but we will bring Taliban down. Insh Allah !!
