She didn't sneeze for five consecutive minutes giving one of them enough time to ask why I was walking through the middle of their prayer circle. I simply told him that they were blocking the path to the stuff that belonged on the truck. I couldn't let it go and asked why they weren't praying for something more practical, like God filling the van. This thinned the heard, but the few remaining were equally dedicated to getting the truck loaded.
The fact is that this type of prayer isn't really meant to cure the afflicted. It is meant as demonstration of how devout and concerned the non-afflicted are.
It is nothing more than shameless self promotion while pretending to care.

What kind of ward was this and did the staff know they were loose?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I think what strikes me the most is the sheer callousness poorly masked as a peppy call for reaffirmation. It's just breathtaking.
The funny thing about this is it can be debunked with science and logic.
Faith Healing doesn't cure cancer, so why would faith prevent the flu?
Even if there was a correlation between faith and health, we know correlation DOES NOT equal causation.
Those are two rebuttals using Logic.
Two more, using science, include:
Lack of faith isn't a cause of infection, the flu happens when a foreign virus enters your body and starts to breed inside of you and releasing toxic waste into your body.
Even if you had faith in those passages, we know that faith isn't the thing that prevented the flu. Keeping your hands clean, never touching orifices or the eyes with your bare hands, distancing yourself from sick people, and having a good immune system is what prevents symptoms.
I'm pretty confident that there are many more scientific explanations that are more logical than the "God dun diddit" or "I had faith" bullcrap arguments.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!

Jesus Fuck, Copeland! Number 10 is literally "you don't have enough faith"???
Can you scumdwelling rejects seriously not think of a better way to rip people off without causing them unnecessary pain while you're at it? "You don't have enough faith, you pathetic excuse for a christian! If you really loved Jesus, you'd be healed already!"

When all else fails, they have to find some reason to throw the blame on the person. Because god's not allowed to be wrong.

It's a shame there is no evidence.

All while reminding them of their duty to tithe, no doubt.

Not sure, can vaguely humanoid toads get the flu at all?

The very first one he posts is "James 4:7: Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." So is the claim that the devil invented the flu, or that the flu is the devil? If it's the former, has the writer of the article ever been ill?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
