Have you listened to the recent speech by Sarah Palin?Because I am on the phone I can't link to it. Her speech made no sense. I don't mean just that her ideas are illogical. I mean her words made no sense in context with one another

Here's Jon Stewart's take on it. The GOP is conniving. They have consistently broken American politics. They roadblock, grandstand, whine like petulant children, and, above all - fearmonger. So America goes down the shitter, and then they blame it on Obama and warn what continued adherence to his "socialist" policies will do to America. The problem is that the Democrats are good at waiting. They play the long game. America will continue to recover in the next two years. Then, when 2016 rolls around, Dems will point at the facts. They will ask that question that every presidential campaign is littered with. "Are you better off in 2016 than you were in 2008?" They will point to the fact that even this Republican congress will have done jack shit for progress even when they enjoyed majority. They will point to Supreme Court wins for women, gays, minorities. They will point out what this Republican congress will actually do for employment, middle class numbers, healthcare costs in the next two years. They will point to the GOP base appealing imbecile that they foist upon America deemed the new savior. I so hope it's Ted Cruz.

You can see that John Stewart can barely contain his excitement for the next Republican primaries. 2012 was comedy gold.

Can you imagine if McCain had won the presidency and died? Palin would have been our president.
My husband heard me playing the clip and asked her name because he assumed she was a comedian making fun of Palin. (January 28, 2015 at 3:27 pm)Jacob(smooth) Wrote: Is she on drugs? Seriously? THIS woman, was a handful of votes and a heart attack away from having a nuclear arsenal. That's just terrifying.
