LOL i didn't revise this post would get so many replies (even if they all are about booty)..the ones who gave advice thank you, i am only just learning about atheism so I'm obviously no match to all of the religious people on that site...theres like 4 atheists and we constantly get attacked...i was banned 6 times just because i decided to speak up for atheists and against religion...i even made an innocent thread to try and educate people but they just banned me instead *shrugs*

and i couldn't think of a name, so i thought booty warrior would've been a funny one....LOL be mature guys

and thanks for welcoming me to the site...im learning a lot here

So...i am somali, and i was on this somali forum...now most somalis are muslim and i and a few other on there are atheist..
we need some of the knowledgeable and intelligent people on here to go there, sign up and school them...heres the link to the topic i question.

Welcome, TheBootywarrior. I know it's not easy to be a Somali atheist. I'm afraid my personal ethics won't allow me to pretend to be Somali, and I suppose a non-Somali atheists would not be welcome there.

I hope you'll decide to spend some time with us anyway.

Do you live in Somalia now? If not, what country are you in?

Are you a clan Somali? If so, which clan? I have many friends from Somalia, but most of them are Bantu refugees, not ethnic Somali.

Yeah, probably so. Too bad, a Somali atheist is a rare breed. Likely a teenager though, and our forum can be a bit of a shark tank for people with undeveloped skills, so it might be just as well to throw him back and give him a chance to grow first.

im a canadian who is half somali half syrian...never been to somalia or syria in my life. yea my dad is ethnic somali, my clan is darod. are you somali?

That's a clan with a lot of prominent Somali figures, including a president, a prime minister, and Hirsi Magan Isse, Ayaan Hirsi Ali's father (I picked that up from reading her biography, Infidel).

No, I'm not Somali, but I mentor some of the children of a group of Somali Bantu refugees that were relocated to Columbia SC back in 2004, mostly from Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. So I've picked up more about Somalia than the average American bear. Only picked up about seven words of Maay-maay in all that time, though (yes, no, hello, goodbye, thank you, good, and hurry up).

yea i think only bantu somalis can speak may may...but for the most part it has some somali words (not sure though).

You're somalian... the stereotype comes with the territory. Obviously it's not necessarily true... but your 'the booty warrior' title more than 'kind of' works together with it. So... I'm sorry that it's not appreciated, but... it's kind of to be expected, what with the name, and all.
