I'm sick of the likes of GC et al poking around various topics and disputing science when they believe this shit in the bible. Fucking hypocritical tossers, all of them. How they think they can question evolution yet maintain a belief that sacrificial pigeons be offered for menstruating women gets right on my tits.
If they say they don't adhere to this particular verse then whats the fucking point of them taking anything in their book of myths seriously?
The christers sure need a commandment advocating cherry picking scriptures.

It's actually referring to pigeons or "turtle doves", not turtles. You'll see that in the newer translations. Either they were raised and sold commercially or there was always a bunch of Israelites running around with nets trying to catch them. God probably picked those birds to relieve the Israeliltes of all the pigeon poop all over everything. I hate pigeons.
Imagine a 'Mexican burrito style' food truck pulling up in front of an evangelical megachurch just before services start and attempting to sell birds to the menstruating members of the flock !!

There was NOTHING else an omnipotent creator of all beings could have done about the pigeon poop problem, except make menstruating women run around chasing birds. lol
