The thing is, in the OT you don't even have to try to find disgusting shit. It's almost everywhere. It's just none of the modern day hypocrites read it, or pay any attention to it. Apart from Drich and his slavery, and we've had quite a few rape apologists too.

I've tried calling people out on it before, but they argue that it actually means the opposite of what it says. Every time. So they aren't interested in their own text.

God cursed them with their periods for an infraction. Probably they forgot to praise God enough for his blessings of yaws and goiter enough times to placate god's easily bruised itty bitty feelings.
