Intolerant Christians here in the U.S.

Intolerant Christians here in the U.S.
It's a funny thing, I just read an article about Anti-Muslim "Christians" protesting on Islam Day in Oklahoma. They were saying how America is a Christian nation and all that basic B.S. that they like to spout out. Here's the full article herehttp://news.yahoo.com/muslim-day-Oklahoma-capitol-hit-anti-islamic-protests-203731419.html

I think it's ludicrous that some Christians actually have this mindset!

I do know a few weeks ago I got into a debate with a Christian friend and he told me to keep my wimpy atheism to myself. But what's funny or ironic is that on a daily basis he's trying to get people to join his religion.

Point out to him that the Establishment Clause prohibits them from enacting Sharia'a ... then back away quickly before his fulmination begins.

This is the evangelical idea of religious freedom:

A lot of Christians actually believe the BS about the USA being a Christian Nation. This is borne out of ignorance, of course and lies spread by the likes of Dan Barton. Some of them are liars themselves, who actually know better but help spread these lies. I think most of them are victims of the lies, though. They have been snowed themselves. We should look upon them as opportunities. Point them in the direction of truth. Challenge them to read the Constitution and see for themselves that it is an entirely secular document. This is one of the easiest ways to expose the Christian, fucking liars for what they are.

Your wrong the Constitution was set up for the Christian, atheist, the I don't knows and all other religious groups, if it were secular as you say it would deal with religions in a disgraceful way, it doesn't do that. Seems you are the one who needs to read the Constitution of the United States of America and not your version of it. Many good men and women have died in defense of it, you should learn to have respect for it.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

First and foremost - atheists and agnostics ("the I don't knows", as you call them) are not religious groups.

Can you explain why you think secularism is equal to disrespect to religion?

I think you might be a bit confused about the definition of the word secular, love.

You should perhaps look up the definition of secular before you start lecturing about it.
