"Let's vote in that Canadian for US president!" - Ted Cruz
|
Kitty, I'm pretty sure someone else said it first. In any case - get ready for a whole lot more clowns to emerge.
I seem to recall saying last year that the sensible thing the Republican party could do would be a move to the center - but they won't. They'll double down on batshit crazy before they'll do that. Mind you, I'm not likely to like whomever the Democrats end up nominating either, but at least they're likely to be sane, and won't be entirely hostile to reality. Ah, yes. Cries of "Republican in name only" are music to my ears.

I would couch this by saying they're more likely to display qualities that lead me to believe they err toward the sane side of the spectrum. :p

I think its so bizzare he is running.. Of course I would NEVER vote for him. I am curious though how many republicunts will go for this... He is Republican... Aren't they like against immigration and stuff? Its just confusing as all hell... either that or I am just ignorant and haven't read enough on him.
I saw an interview with Mitt Romney this morning, and the interviewer said that Ted Cruz has said that the reason they lost the last two presidential elections was because they weren't conservative enough.
That's right, Ted. You lost because you didn't alienate women and minority voters enough!

Their response to losing is trying to dedicate more towards their cause. isn't doing the same thing over and over, expecting to get a different result, the definition of insanity? Yet they keep going in the same direction, and dragging the democrats with them. Honestly you'd think the democrats would give up on the republican base, and just focus on minority groups and more liberal people.

Those bastards gave us eight years of Bush and his pals fucking up everything in sight. We should have let them have four to eight more years, so they would have had no one else to blame for the multiple messes they made. They would have had to own it, and that would have been the end of them. |
